Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze!

Last Saturday we went to the Mosby Brothers Farm located off of Hwy. 18 with some of our friends. As soon as we got there we went on a hayride tractor-pulled. It was fun and the kids loved it.

Isabelle was asleep the whole ride!

I thought it was going to be cold out there and I got my kids dressed like Eskimos :o)

She didn't want her picture taken!
Ella no quería que le tomara fotos!
After that we enter the Corn Maze! In the beginning the boys separated from the girls and wanted to know if we could figure it out. Of course, after a few attempts we had to join them because it was not too easy. Jer and I had to hold Isabelle most of the time (she didn’t want to walk). It was a lot of fun finding the checkpoints throughout the maze and the kids took turns punching each number.

Okay, here are the masters of the corn maze! hmmm... lets go this way!

Yea! we found the exit!
Sí! encontramos la salida! We had a great afternoon with our family and the Nelsons. Everyone was tired and ready to go home.

Naomi and her Bangs

Naomi had been asking for bangs for the last few months. Jer and I always said NO because we think she looks okay without them. One night she begged enough that we had to agree. I cut her bangs the next morning and she was so happy that asked me to take pictures of her. I can’t believe how much she looks like me now.

Isn't she beautiful!

Snoqualmie Falls

Snoqualmie Falls is one of my favorite places to go. One day we packed some lunch and took the family to Snoqualmie.
We walked down close to the water and found a cave to eat our sandwiches.
Ariana was excited to climb on the rocks without falling!
Even though it was a warm day the water is very cold. Isabelle started walking in the water and got her feet wet.
Then she got her pants a little bit wet.
Well, it was too much fun splashing around and got her pants all wet.
Hurray for water!Yep, she took her pants off! Ella se quitó el pantalón!
She took her underwear and shirt off... yes, she got naked! I tryed to get her dress a few times but she found a little puddle where she played until she got cold.
At the end we had to get all the kids get their feet wet.

Night at Redondo Beach

Before summer was over we had a warm wonderful weekend. That Saturday night we took all the kids to Redondo Beach. When we got there Naomi cried for something, I’m not sure what. Ariana and André went for a walk finding rocks. Naomi, Isabelle and Ruby played in the sand and made sand angels. André built something with all the logs he was able to lift.

There she is... crying again! Little "Titi"

My battery died before I could take pictures of Ariana :o(

Ringling Bros. and Barnun and Bailey Circus

A few weeks ago Jer and I bought some tickets for the circus! That day I went to pick up the kids at school and told them about our plans. They didn’t show any enthusiasm for it (I guess they didn’t know what to expect). André said “can we play there?” I told them about the clowns, animals, magic shows, etc. Naomi then said “that sounds boring”. So, I got worried that they would not like it and I just paid for 6 tickets, very expensive ones!!! Anyway, Jer and I had to be positive and make our family night fun.

We got there one hour early and we had the opportunity to walk around, try some of the costumes and see the elephants.

We don't like clowns, but here they are... playing musical chairs.

The show began! These little asian kids were amazing!

We saw the elephants playing basket ball, painting and doing a show. The magician disappeared an elephant! That was cool.

The tigers were awesome too! Naomi enjoyed the show.
At the end we had a successful night!
It was an amazing show and we thought it was worth it.
Anyone who bought a bag of cotton candy got a magician hat. We didn't buy any because each bag was $12. At the end of the show a couple gave those to our kids, I guess they didn't want them :o)
