Boys and Girls

Let me tell you what has been going on the last couple of weeks… My friend went to Mexico and she got some cute out fits for the girls. Naomi loved it. She has been wearing it every single day since she got it. Isabelle really likes it but it is too big for her, so sometimes she uses the skirt as a dress. Naomi likes to pretend that she is a dancer, a princess or the Little Mermaid when she wears it.

Ariana had to make a disguise for a turkey as a school project. We started brainstorming some ideas until she said “what about a Princess”. We thought it was a good idea so I asked Jeremy to help with his drawing skills. Ariana colored the turkey and I helped her to decorate the pretty dress. This is what we got.
André started playing Pokémon card a few months ago. He plays with his friends from school all the time. But actually, they don’t know the rules, so they are not playing like they are suppose to. He started duplicating his cards by drawing them on a piece of paper. It was a lot of work on his part but he really enjoyed doing it. Finally we decided to get a set of cards to learn the rules of the game. The sweet little boy had some money saved and he offered to pay us back for the set. After Jeremy read the rules he noticed that we needed two sets to be able to play a game. Jeremy thinks is an interesting cool game, so he bought 3 more sets to have variety in the game. Now they are playing every Friday night and weekends. I’m learning to play and we are having so much fun.

What fun you guys are having! I love the cute pics of Naomi and am very impressed with Ariana's turkey princess. I noticed in church the other week that Andre was playing with his pokemon cards.

How cute, immer. I love it that you guys are getting into Pokemon, to share a hobby with Andre. What great parents you are. And the turkey turned out so cute! Eva made hers a butterfly-but it wasn't nearly so lovely. See you soon!
