Lake Cushman Camping Trip June 2011

A lot of people have heard me saying that I don't enjoy camping but some friends made me look at camping on a different way... It's actually not too bad, I guess. This happened in the beginning of Summer 2011.
The last day of school, the children had an early dismissal and it was the perfect day to go camping. We met Rob, Rachel and Rebecca at Lake Cushman and camp with them.
The weather was very nice.
El clima era muy bonito.
Jeremy and Andre took care setting up the Tent!
Andre made a fire.
Andre hizo una fogata.
While camping, Andre filled some of his Cub Scout requirements... That's my boy!
Isy enjoying some of our meals. Yum! breakfast burrito!Rachel brought ingredients to make brownies... They were delicious!Rob took my family on a canoe ride. It's just a beautiful place!
They boys and children found this place full of Salamanders. There were hundreds of them and everyone had so much fun catching these little guys. After our trip, we found out that they are a poison species of Salamanders... oh well, we're fine after all!
They had a race competition.

Naomi's little guy!Okay, let me tell you about this picture. The water of this lake comes from melted snow. We were finding the Salamanders in little ponds that were not too deep so the water was not too cold. Isabelle started completely dressed and then she took piece by piece off until she only had a hat and shoes! What can I say... she likes water or maybe... being naked.
Now, Rob is swimming in the very cold water of the lake. He's crazy!
All the fun made the girls tired.
The girls having fun with Rachel.
Is this an expression of excitement of what?

We saw many cool places while hiking.I love this pic!
Rachel asked Ariana for help... I think it was too big for her :o)

Yep! it was the best camping trip ever! Thanks to Rob and Rachel we have a nice family memory with family and friends. I would do it again.
